Home visit physiotherapy and podiatry in Brunswick West

Brunswick West sits between Moonee Ponds Creek and Melville Road, and our Moonee Ponds clinic is only a few minutes away across the creek. Our physiotherapists and podiatrists visit homes throughout the suburb.

  • Your clinician comes from the Head2Toe clinic at 42 Pascoe Vale Road, Moonee Ponds
  • Melville Road tram stops and the Moonee Ponds Creek trail are useful markers for walking goals
  • Dunstan Reserve and Gilpin Park offer flat paths close to most streets

Served from Moonee Ponds, not Brunswick

Although the name says Brunswick, most of Brunswick West is closer to our clinic on Pascoe Vale Road than to our Sydney Road clinic. The short hop across Moonee Ponds Creek means visits here are easy to schedule and usually come with a choice of times. If you would rather see a clinician from the Brunswick clinic for continuity, tell us when you enquire and we will do our best.

Who we visit in Brunswick West

The suburb has a strong mix of long-time residents in the brick homes around Hope Street and Daly Street, and newer families and apartment dwellers near Melville Road. Many of our enquiries come from adult children arranging care for a parent who has lived here for decades and wants to stay. We also visit NDIS participants, people recovering at home after surgery, and residents of the suburb’s aged care homes.

Walking and balance close to home

Brunswick West is flat, which makes it a good place to rebuild walking confidence. Dunstan Reserve, Gilpin Park and the Moonee Ponds Creek trail all have level, well-kept paths. A falls prevention program here often starts with balance work at the kitchen bench and builds towards a loop of the local park. The tram stops along Melville Road are a practical goal for people who want to get back to using public transport on their own.

Feet and footwear

Our podiatrists visit Brunswick West for regular nail and skin care, diabetic foot checks and footwear advice. The suburb’s older residents often walk to the Union Square shops or along Melville Road, and keeping feet comfortable keeps those errands possible.

After hospital

People in Brunswick West are often discharged from the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Parkville or from John Fawkner Private in Coburg. A short block of home physiotherapy in the first weeks home helps the recovery stick, and we follow the plan your surgeon or hospital physiotherapist set.

Nearby suburbs

We also visit Moonee Ponds, Brunswick, Pascoe Vale and Coburg. If the visit is for someone in a neighbouring street, send an enquiry and we will confirm.

Arranging a visit

Head2Toe Home is part of the Head2Toe group. Send an enquiry with your suburb and funding type and we will match a clinician from the Moonee Ponds clinic and call to confirm a time.
